Health

We guarantee that when you take your puppy home, it will be in good health, free of diseases and up-to-date with vaccines and wormings. Its dew claws will also have been removed. As this puppy is being purchased as a companion pet, it’s recommend that it be neutered or spayed.

The new owner is expected to have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within five (5) days (not including Sundays and holidays) of receipt of puppy. The puppy may be returned to us within those five (5) days following purchase (Provided that the puppy has not been damaged in any way) if it is determined that an unknown health issue is present that will cause certain premature death. The new owner may return the puppy to us and receive a different puppy from the same litter (if available) or future litter (when available). A written statement from a licensed Veterinarian must be provided, and we have the option to have the condition verified by our own Veterinarian. If you decide not to receive a replacement pup, your fee would be $250.00 and the remaining $600.00 would be returned to you.

We are not responsible for testacies that have not dropped, under/over bite, or the presence of parasites, such as worms, Guardia, Coccidia, mites, lice, ticks, fleas.

We are NOT responsible for the loss of this puppy once it leaves our premises, due to sickness, accidents, injuries, or theft. We are also not responsible for refunds due to human allergies, disability, not bonding with the puppy or because the temperament is not what was expected; however, we will help you re-home the puppy if the situation arises.

The new owner assumes all financial responsibility for the puppy including but not limited to vet expenses, AKC registration, food, surgeries, boarding, grooming, etc.

The new owner also assumes responsibility to continue quality healthcare for the puppy, such as required vaccinations, wormings, flea/tick applications, Heartworm testing/treatment, etc. and feeding the puppy a high-quality puppy food for the first year and adult food thereafter in addition to providing the puppy fresh water. The new owner agrees to provide a suitable fenced area for this puppy. This puppy shall also have adequate and proper shelter and housed securely. Obedience training is also recommended.

AKC Registration

We certify that the puppy is eligible for registration under the Regulations of the American Kennel Club as a purebred Labrador Retriever and will provide the proper forms for such a registration.

Hip & Elbow Guarantee

For and additional fee of $250.00 we will warranty your puppy for 12 months from the date of birth of the puppy. The puppy must not have been bred or sired a litter for this warranty to be effective.

The Buyer should educate himself/herself to proper nutrition of the dog so as not to induce joint problems of either lack of nutrition or by causing an overweight condition in a developing puppy.

It is understood that Hip & Elbow Dysplasia can be caused by poor nutrition or injury and that the puppy is guaranteed to the extent of GENETIC Hip & Elbow Dysplasia only.

In the event of GENETIC Hip or Elbow Dysplasia that warrants euthanization of the puppy before the age of 12 months, the Seller agrees to replace the puppy with another of same quality when available; however, the buyer must provide copies of all medical records from a licensed vet showing that all shots/medical treatment have been keep up-to-date. This guarantee will be void if the pup shows signs of abuse or neglect or has been over-fed. We do not pay any medical bills.

Please note that we do not require euthanization of the puppy. A puppy found to have a mild condition, which will not in any way shorten or diminish the quality of life for that puppy, WILL NOT BE REPLACED.

If at any time the Buyer decides to relinquish ownership of this puppy, please notify us first. We usually have a waiting list of people looking for young adult or older dogs who need a good, loving home.

Deposits

We require a $250 deposit to hold your puppy. When we receive your deposit, you have officially secured your spot on the list and that pup will not be sold to anyone else. When the puppies are at least 7 weeks old, we will go in the order of which we received the deposits and schedule a time to pick up your new puppy. When you come to pick up your new puppy, you will pay the balance. If you are unhappy with your choice, your deposit will be refunded in the manner in which it was received; however, if for some reason you change your mind at any time, unfortunately, your deposit is non-refundable. Buying a puppy is a big decision and should be thought out well in advance of paying a deposit.
